So the holidays are here!

I remember when I was a kid my mom would always say around this time of year "why cant Christmas come every other year" Well I thought that she was always kidding. Now having kids of my own I totally understands where she is coming from. We went today and cut down our tree :) It is a perfect tree if I do say so myself. LOL I picked it! It was like a whole 34 degrees out while we were wandering around looking for this tree But we got it, decorated it and now it looks all jolly in my house :) Why does it seem like the month of December just FLYS by? Ok well I am just talking about nothing. I better hit the hay since the daughter is in a play at church tomorrow......busy day yet again! Will write more soon! Promise!

Thinking

So the past few days I have been thinking. How did I get to where I am today? Is this really what life is all about. It is the holiday season, they say the happiest time of the year. Everything I have seen has been the complete opposite. Everyone seems to be so angry. Me personally, I am just stuck at a in between place.....in between happy and angry. Justin leaving is getting closer so I am getting more worried! I want to spend as much time with him as possible but it never seems to happen. I have been SO tired all the time because Ethan wont sleep through the night yet. I just wonder what would life be like if I had made other choice, I don't take back ANYTHING in my life but I just wonder what kind of a person would I be today if I did things in a different order.

Hmmmmm Don't really know what to think. And why the heck did I want to write a blog? No one follows me or reads them so I guess it is just a glorified journal. Well that is all for now!

The Army Wife

So this is the where it all begins!

So, here I am a 27 year old mother of 2 just got married on 9/23 to the man I have been with for 9 years as of this December. And I get the bright idea......I want to write a blog. Why you ask, well that is just a good darn question. Maybe it is because I have always loved to write. Maybe it is because I need some why to get my feelings out there, Or maybe it is because I am starting a new chapter to my life.

So the new chapter you ask..... well I will get to that in a second, lets give you the quick overview of my life. It all started in 1982 the year of my birth LOL just kidding I will not go that far back. So lets see, I graduated from Shorecrest high in 2000 WOO HOO!!!! I met Justin in August of 2000 and we started dating the 13th of December in 2000 and well the rest is history there. I had my first child when I was 19, almost 20. We bought our house in August of 2005 and we welcomed our 2nd child in August of 2008. Justin and I were planning a big wedding (we still are) but since it has been hard in the working world and Justin wanted to do everything that he can to take care of his family so after some talks he decided that the only way that he would be able to make a decent paycheck was if he enlisted in the Army.

He was in the Army when he was 18 and got discharged for failure to adapt. But now he is older and wiser so I told him.... "go ahead and try to see if they will take you again, I am behind you 100%"

So I guess that is where my journey is going to start. This is the story of one stay at home mom that was BARELY making ends meet money wise and relationship wise. Now I am starting a new part of my life....the Army wife. Let me tell you I am scared to death but I am excited at the same time! So I am going to let you all follow me on my journey.

There is going to be a lot to chat about!!
